Car Tyre Shine

The tyres can be the crowning glory of a good clean job - or let it down completely. So, make sure that you give your operators the tools to create the best tyre shine possible.

Tyre Shine

You can’t beat water and chemicals as the key components for a good, effective car tyre cleaner. Once you have gotten rid of all the mud, road grime, oils, and debris from the tyres, you are then in a position to apply the tyre polish and give them the finish that they deserve.

Best Tyre Shine Products from Frogchem

Frogchem can offer a range of car tyre shine chemicals to give your tyres that professional finish. From the company’s popular economy tyre shine to its premium lasting ‘tyre dressing’ that gives a rich dark shine that lasts for several weeks, Frogchem-treated tyres will leave your car wash customers coming back time after time.

Tyre Polishing Accessories

To make sure that your car wash operators can do the best possible job, Frogchem can supply you with all the accessories necessary. The tyre polish can either be applied with special tyre shine sponges or with bristle brushes, and the company stocks a full range on its website.

How to Make a Tyre Shine

There’s no secret to making a tyre shine. A good finish is down to the effective use of a quality tyre soap, which has the right balance of chemicals to eliminate all the dirt, oil and grime that builds up through use. Once you have applied the car tyre cleaner, given it a good scrub, and washed it off, you need to dry them off by sponging off any excess water.

You then need to apply the tyre shine. Check the dilution recommendations on the product’s label and mix it accordingly in a Tyre Shine spray bottle, like the ones you can find here on Frogchem’s Tyre Shine product page. Apply a generous film across the surface of the tyre, and then let it ‘sit’ for a few minutes, allowing the polish to seep into the rubber. You may want to apply two or three layers before you start working it in. After a few minutes, you can work the polish into the rubber. Make sure you are spreading the polish in the same direction (clockwise or anti-clockwise) on all four tyres. With the above technique and Frogchem’s quality products, your tyres are sure to be left sparkling.
